The Launchpad's Executive Director with the Director General and the Director of Curriculum Design for Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) working on the New National Curriculum Framework which is due to be released before the end of the year. The Launchpad will be working with a team of specialists within TIE to draft and validate the framework and ensure that is fit for purpose in the context of 21st Century demands. The new Curriculum framework will aim to incorporate the 21st Century Skills for Employability and Entrepreneurship so as to prepare students throughout the different phases of their Education. The Teacher Training component of the framework will aim to ensure that all teachers are trained in the importance of Skills Education during their Initial Teacher training but are also supported through Continual Professional Development throughout their career. The Launchpad is honoured to be part of this crucial project which will see the realisation of the Launchpad mission and vision of embedding skills into the curriculum in order to catch the future of our nation early.
